The mountains rising in the distance are a familiar sight across Canterbury, a landscape that quietly signals the journey home. For me, this view is more than just scenery; it’s a marker of belonging, the moment you know you’re nearly there.
When I first began this piece, I wasn’t entirely sure how it would come together. But art is often about trusting the process, allowing the work to unfold and enjoying the journey as the image slowly reveals itself.
